Winter training will once again be based in Lough Ree Yacht Club.
The central location, weather conditions that are usually forgiving enough to permit winter sailing and the offer of winter storage, has made Lough Ree Yacht Club the popular choice.
Graeme Grant will be heading up the coaching again.
He will be aided by Conor Twohig and Sarah White who have been doing sterling work coaching in their respective clubs.
Graeme will be available for the following dates (assisted by either Sarah or Conor)
February 24th – 25th
March 24th – 25th
April 21st -22nd
Each weekend will cost €70 per boat
In order for us to be able to manage costs, it will be mandatory to do all three weekends (€210 per boat. Payable in advance.)
Due to the recent large, and very welcome, influx of bronze fleet sailors, we intend to use the first training weekend to prepare both boats and sailors in order to get the maximum benefit from the following sessions with Graeme.
This weekend is not mandatory and will cost €50 per boat
January 13th – 14th

Mirror Northern’s & ODowd 2016 NOR at LRYC
ENTRY FORM Mirror Northerns & ODowd 2016
Please see above the Notice of Race and the Entry Form for the Northern Championship and O’Dowd Cup
The Northern Championship will be a one day event – Saturday.
Sunday will be the O’Dowd Cup, which is only for silver and bronze fleet sailors.
The O’Dowd cup is the ideal event for sailors to have their first try at a regional event, as the absence of gold fleet sailors makes for a more level playing field.
